QR Code cost

OK, so you've heard and read about QR Codes and its endless possible applications for the mobile phone market but now your thinking how much will this cost me to set up and use ?

The good news is that QR codes are free to create and use.

Denso wave (http://www.denso-wave.com) is the creator of QR Codes and they also hold the patent. Their QR code specification has been made available to use by any individual or organisation (http://www.denso-wave.com/qrcode/faq-e.html) so there are no licensing or royalties to pay. zero cost!

There are various websites where you can generate a free Static QR Code (The web address is stored on the QR code) or you use the QRMe service to generate a free dynamic QR Code (The web address is stored on our server). Using a dynamic QR Code allows you to change where the QR code points to and it also gives you a tracking capability to see how many times your QR code has been scanned.

QRMe also store the date, time, ip address, mobile browser type and the mobiles operating system when the mobile is scanned and we'll be using this information to create detailed tracking reports in the future.
Our QRme service is free so all you have to do is register, login and save your unique QRMe QR Code and your away (See http://www.qrme.co.uk/qr-code-set-up-instructions.html for further instructions).
