ifm efector inc have designed a high speed QR Code reader housed in solid-state metal (80x42x52mm) capable of reading both 1D barcodes and 2D barcodes which can identify dot-peened, laser-etched and printed Dot matrix codes as well as normal printed barcodes. The design of the reader is designed to withstand harsh environments and perform in fast moving applications and has a maximum target speed of 7 meters/second with a maximum scanning range of 30 inches.
