QRMe QR Code tracking

QRMe Codes (Dynamic QR Codes for tracking)

Normal QR codes are static as the website address is hard coded in the actual image so you'll always be directed to the same web page when the QR code is scanned. If you change your website address or simply want surfers to be directed to a different page other than what you had originally set your QR Code to point to then you need to create a new one and redistribute your literature. You'll also have to change your website in order to report tracking statistics.

To eliminate this potential problem QRMe have introduced the concept of dynamic QR Codes. One you have registered you’ll be allocated a unique QRMe Code. Your QRMe code points to your member profile on the QRMe.co.uk web server which contains the website address you want your QRMe code to visit once it’s scanned and, by using the QRMe service, you'll be able to see realtime tracking statistics. To change the web page your QRMe Code points to simply update your profile and the changes are instant. Note. Static QR Codes do not have a tracking capability so you''ll need to get your website developers to add this functionality to your website if you do not intend to use QRMe Codes and the QRMe service. QR Codes explained will give you useful background on 1D barcodes, 2D barcodes and, in particular QR Codes.

The complete QRMe service is currently free to use. No membership fees and no subscription fees. Normal mobile phone browsing charges will apply to anyone scanning the QRMe Code (as with any mobile phone browsing). We have lots of new exciting ideas in the pipeline to enable you to control your QRMe Code to make the QRMe service very versatile (The're secret at the moment). The service is free so register and get your company at the fingertips of mobile phone owners
